  Mapathon is an initiative to support OpenStreetMap community development 
 in Africa. The aim is to bring OSM communities across Africa together to l
 earn from each other\, network\, and grow the spirit of collaboration whil
 e contributing data to OpenStreetMap.\n\n**Join the August edition hosted 
 by the OSM South Sudan community and contribute to one of their ongoing pr
 ojects.**\n\nIn this event\, you will be able to:\n* Join breakout rooms a
 ccording to mapping experience. Beginner mappers will learn how to map\;\n
 * Join language-based discussion groups (English\, French\, Swahili\, Arab
 ic and Portuguese)\;\n* Network with OSM Africa community members from all
  over the continent\;\n* Participate in lightning talks.\n\nThis mapathon
