DESCRIPTION:The UN Maps Crowdsourcing Team is offering a ten-session onlin
 e training workshop in English on "Validating OpenStreetMap data" for expe
 rienced JOSM mappers.\n\nThe workshop will cover the following topics:\n\n
     • Training Introduction\n    • Introduction to UN Maps\n\nthen the
  training will aim to teach [this course available on the UN Maps Learning

 echniques\n        ◦ Introduction\n        ◦ the validation steps of t
 he OSM Tasking Manager\n        ◦ some tools and plugins in JOSM\n      
   ◦ Overpass\, a technology that extracts a portion of OSM data based on
  various criteria\n        ◦ Osmose\, a thematic error detection service
 \n        ◦ Whodidit\, a service for detecting changes in data over an a
 rea of interest\n        ◦ OSMCha\, a service that analyzes all OSM chan
 gesets and compares the latest version of OSM data with the previous one\,
  in order to detect potentially damaging contributions (such as vandalism 
 or mass import) or contributor profiles likely to commit errors\n    • I
