  \n2. first time mappers are introduced to 2 popular open-source OpenStree
 tMap applications ([Organic Maps](https://organicmaps.app/) and [Every Doo
 r](https://every-door.app/))  \n3. everyone is split into groups\, with ea
 ch group getting a specific area to explore and map using [Every Door](htt
 ps://every-door.app/)\n4. the groups disperse\, and venture into their ass
 igned areas for about 1 hour of mapping  \n5. regroup for brunch after map
 ping  \n\n## Who are we?\n\nWe are passionate and experienced OpenStreetMa
 p contributors who improve it for fun in our free time. Many of us are als
 o involved in open data\, free software and civic tech activities.\n\n## U

 \n\n* There are no prerequisites for participating\, so feel free to join 
 us in the meeting point at the mentioned time.\n* Event updates are posted

 #OSM_BLR:matrix.org) group. Joining either of the groups is recommended\, 
 but not required.\n    * If you are not on Telegram or Matrix\, and wish t

  updates on your preferred messaging channel.\n* The meeting point is at A

 0m from the CMRIT Bus Stop. KBS-1\, 500-CA\, 500-F\, 335-E and 331-A are h
 igh-frequency bus routes that stop at CMRIT Bus Stop. They can be boarded 
 from Kundalahalli Metro Station\, Majestic\, Banashankari or Shivajinagar.
