 ise.com/) is a San Francisco-based artist and geospatial software develope
 r. Through video\, performance\, and works on paper he reinvigorates the p
 erceptual inquiries of structural filmmakers\, experimental animators\, th
 e Light and Space movement\, and 60's light shows – with the occasional 
 injection of letterform experiments inspired by visual poetry – as new p
 ossibilities in the realm of digital cartography.\n\n[Carl Stone](https://
 www.rlsto.net/) is one of the pioneers of live computer music\, and has us
 ed computers in live performance since 1986. He has been hailed by the Vil
 lage Voice as “the king of sampling.” and “one of the best composers
  living in (the USA) today.”. RELIX has written that “Stone makes musi
 c that can hit your ear holes like a DMT flash.” He was born in Californ
 ia and now divides his time between LA and Japan. He studied composition a
 t the California Institute of the Arts with Morton Subotnick and James Ten
 ney and has composed electro-acoustic music almost exclusively since 1972.
  His works have been performed in the U.S.\, Canada\, Europe\, Asia\, Aust
 ralia\, South America and the Near East. In addition to his schedule of pe
 rformance\, composition and touring\, he is the emeritus professor in the 
 Department of Media Engineering at Chukyo University in Japan.
