 \n2. first time mappers are introduced to 2 popular open-source OpenStreet
 Map applications ([Organic Maps](https://organicmaps.app/) and [Every Door
 ](https://every-door.app/))  \n3. everyone is split into groups\, with eac
 h group getting a specific area to explore and map using [Every Door](http
 s://every-door.app/)\n4. the groups disperse\, and venture into their assi
 gned areas for about 1 hour of mapping  \n5. regroup for brunch after mapp
 ing  \n\n## Who are we?\n\nWe are passionate and experienced OpenStreetMap
  contributors who improve it for fun in our free time. Many of us are also
  involved in open data\, free software and civic tech activities.\n\n## Us
 eful equipment to bring along\n\n* a functioning Android or iOS smartphone
  with mobile data (required)\n* a power bank (optional)\n* a charging cabl
 e (optional)\n* water bottle/umbrella/cap (optional)\n\n## How do I join?\
 n\n* There are no prerequisites for participating\, so feel free to join u
 s in the meeting point at the mentioned time.\n* Event updates are posted

 OSM_BLR:matrix.org) group. Joining either of the groups is recommended\, b
 ut not required.\n    * If you are not on Telegram or Matrix\, and wish to
