  but it's not required.\n\n## What will we be doing?\n\n- 8:00 to 8:15 - I
 ntroductions  \n- 8:15 to 8:30 - New participants learn what OSM is and a 
 simple way of using it.  \n  * Experienced mappers can choose to start edi
 ting areas of their choice right away.  \n- 8:30 to 9:15 - New participant
 s learn how to add points\, lines\, and areas to OSM.  \n- 9:15 to 10:45 -
  New participants continue mapping.  \n- 10:45 to 11:00 - We conclude the
