DESCRIPTION:OSM Africa Monthly Mapathon is a new initiative to support com
 munity development in Africa. The aim is to bring OSM communities across A
 frica together to learn from each other\, network\, and grow the spirit of
  collaboration while contributing data to OpenStreetMap.\n\nJoin the Octob
 er edition hosted by the OSM Uganda community as we contribute to one of t
 heir ongoing projects.\n\nIn this event\, you will be able to:\n- Join bre
 akout rooms according to mapping experience. Beginner mappers will learn h
 ow to map.\n\n- Join breakout rooms according to language( English\, Frenc
 h\, Swahili\, and Arabic).\n\n- Network with OSM Africa community members 
 from all over the continent.\n\n- Participate in lightning talks.\n\nThis 
 mapathon will be hosted on Zoom and coordinated by OSM Africa with support
  from the Open Mapping Hub - Eastern and Southern Africa hub.\nEvent Websi
